White Oak Pastures
Apr 14 - 18, 2025
Home of the Center for Agricultural Resilience (CFAR), and incredible regenerative agriculture advocate Will Harris, this experience is not to be missed. Nestled in scenic Bluffton, Georgia, the 158-year-old sixth generation farm features pasture-raised, hand-butchered animals produced in a zero-waste operation. But White Oak Pastures is special for another reason. They are living proof of the ability of a farm to become the center of a community and they have worked tirelessly to rebuild Bluffton.
This Intensive experience will feature a soil/compost demo; a ranch tour; a beekeeping educational session, the opportunity to learn about Ecological Outcome Verification (at a Savory Institute Hub), the opportunity to gain an understanding of zero-waste operations, and a lesson in the preparation of smoked meat.
Accommodations are on-site in Bluffton which is about 3 hours from Atlanta by car.
